In about a month the Frankfurter book fair will open its doors again. However, the voting for this year’s Sondermann award has already started. The audience award is based on a character designed/created by Bernd Pfarr (only a German wikipedia link).

The awards are divided into 7 categories: Comic international, Comic-domestic publication (national), Manga/Manhwa international, Manga-domestic publication (national), Cartoon, Newcomer 2008, Bernd-Pfarr-Sonderpreis für komische Kunst (Bernd Pfarr Special award for funny/weird creations) and offers no prize money or reward.
